Stanford Softball Stadium

Main content start

The new three-level Stanford Softball Stadium represents the vision of the Department of Athletics, Physical Education, and Recreation to replace outdated facilities, reinvigorate the fan experience, and provide an equitable venue for the women’s softball team. Once completed, there will be seating capacity for over 1,300 spectators. The field level will include home and visiting team lockers, team support spaces, umpire and coaches’ spaces, training areas, equipment support, and connections to the dugouts. The concourse level will house guest support facilities, food concessions, and restrooms. A covered upper deck will provide press and broadcast facilities, fan experience productions, and gathering spaces.

The design of the new stadium will blend the existing scale and palette of other surrounding athletic facilities with new architectural components. The clubhouse will be clad with buff-colored precast and stucco. Graphics of varsity athletes will be featured on the plaza façade and the elevator tower will feature the Stanford “S” providing an enhanced and inviting entry into the venue.
